But recently, this water is becoming\u2026 just a little bit more sour! That might not sound like a big deal, but it actually causes a lot of problems.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nguy\u00ean nh\u00e2n ch\u00ednh l\u00e0 do kh\u00ed CO2, m\u1ed9t lo\u1ea1i kh\u00ed m\u00e0 ch\u00fang ta th\u1ea3i ra t\u1eeb c\u00e1c nh\u00e0 m\u00e1y, xe c\u1ed9 v\u00e0 nhi\u1ec1u ho\u1ea1t \u0111\u1ed9ng kh\u00e1c. Kh\u00ed CO2 n\u00e0y h\u00f2a tan v\u00e0o n\u01b0\u1edbc bi\u1ec3n, l\u00e0m cho n\u01b0\u1edbc bi\u1ec3n tr\u1edf n\u00ean chua h\u01a1n, gi\u1ed1ng nh\u01b0 khi B\u00e9 cho qu\u00e1 nhi\u1ec1u chanh v\u00e0o n\u01b0\u1edbc v\u1eady.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The main cause is <\/span><\/i><b><i>CO\u2082 (carbon dioxide)<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2014a gas we release into the air from factories, cars, and many other activities. Many sea creatures, especially those with hard shells like <\/span><\/i><b><i>coral, snails, and clams<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, have a hard time building and keeping their shells strong. Imagine you\u2019re building a castle out of small bricks, but the bricks keep getting worn down\u2014how would your castle hold up? That\u2019s what happens to corals and other creatures\u2014their shells get weaker, easier to break, and harder to grow.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u0110i\u1ec1u n\u00e0y \u1ea3nh h\u01b0\u1edfng \u0111\u1ebfn to\u00e0n b\u1ed9 h\u1ec7 sinh th\u00e1i \u0111\u1ea1i d\u01b0\u01a1ng. If coral is in trouble, then the fish that rely on coral are also in trouble. And if those fish are affected, then the animals that eat those fish face difficulties too.
